Design & Bloom provides an array of floral design and event planning services. It is our philosophy that each event should be unique and intimate, no matter its size or location. We take pride in providing each client with the most innovative ideas and latest trends in the industry. We work tirelessly to accommodate the needs of our clients and uphold their privacy at all times. Design & Bloom is a Manhattan based floral design and event-planning firm. Owner, Colleen Eckert, has planned events for several years for friends, colleagues, and acquaintances. Her strong reputation as a planner grew organically, as word of mouth spread, and now the firm orchestrates countless events each year. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography and a minor in Film Studies. Throughout college Colleen worked for various florists, gaining invaluable experience regarding floral design and how events function "behind the scenes". Since graduating college, Colleen has worked many events and venues throughout New York and the Hampton’s. With a strong background in art, Colleen works diligently to make events truly beautiful and aesthetic. Colleen lives in Manhattan on the Upper East Side.
