Colleen is your expert consultant. She is the creative and experienced professional who knows how to make your flowers as unique as your event. Months in advance, as we are putting together the pieces, you will meet and she will take your fantasies and then go about the more practical business of whipping up the design that sets the tone and creates the moods. For the initial appointment, we will ask you to bring ideas to the meeting. Include magazine clips of floral arrangements you like, as well as photos of flowers that impressed you and we will develop from those ideas an event that is uniquely your own. Traditional or whimsical, exquisitely formal or elegantly casual, flowers designed by our team will exceed your expectations. Colleen’s career began and stemmed from a lifelong love of appreciation for the beauty of flowers and design. When you choose to work with Design & Bloom to plan your event, Colleen will meet with you to design around your wants, needs and desires. From planning special celebrations to corporate functions, Design & Bloom creates memorable moments and events. We will assist you throughout the planning process which includes: creation of a theme, selection of vendors, coordination with venue for catering, rental needs, invitations, gift bags and favors, and we even aid in hotel accommodations for guests, "out of town" welcome bags, and we can be on-site for the entire event. We also provide artistic control, per the client’s vision, for the aesthetics of the venue and all additional visual components. Floral design is more than just the flowers showing up on the day of your event. It’s the detail work prior to the event, from the development of our initial concept through the hours of preparing and designing. We spend time perfecting the details of your event.
